‘I remember that night very clearly. My mom kept shouting, “I love Brad! He loves me in all the ways you didn’t!” My father was heartbroken. Of course he would be. His wife left him and his daughter died on the exact same night.’ Tori James lost the important parts of her life. Her sister, her parents and her boyfriend. Moving from Atlanta to Chicago. This is the the new beginning for Tori James. Her parents divorced, sister’s dead and a whole new life to attend too. Tori and her mother moves in with Brad in Chicago and soon Brad’s daughter, Serena and Tori are in for a hell of a ride. While their parents struggle with their own problems, Serena and Tori try to maintain their sanity towards each other. This is a typical teenager book filled with insignificant high school, drama over boys and most of all; life changing events that captures the reader throughout the whole book.
