Six years ago a group of 6 heroes banned together and made a team: the Avengers. Together they stopped Loki and his alien invasion. They again stopped Ultron and added some new members to the team at the end. Together they were unbeatable, a force to be reckoned with. No one was perfect, but they made it work. That is, until, one day they didn't. 

Although the numbers of those fighting were greater than ever before, those core 6 that started the journey were not all together. They were not a team. In the end they lost. Not only did they lose, so did the rest of the universe. Thanos acquired all the infinity stones-power, space, reality, soul, time, and mind-just to wipe out half of all living life. 

Now isn't a time for the remaining heroes to sit back and watch the world burn. No, now it was time for them to live up to their name and avenge the fallen. Now is the time for these heroes to stand up and show what it means to be not just a hero, but an Avenger. 

A genius. 
A solider. 
A god. 
A doctor. 
An archer. 
An assassin. 
A colonel. 
A thief. 
A general. 
A raccoon. 
A daughter.

When new intel comes through about a Hydra weapon, the avengers split into two teams, one checking out a new base, while the other scours an old one. It's no coincidence that the intel comes through, and they find files about experiments done to one person. 'winter 2.0' the team calls her, but to Bucky, the fear sinks in as memories resurface about one soldier in particular, Ace. Stronger, deadlier and she made the winter soldier in him afraid. The work together to find out all they can, not realising that they are being watched by the very soldier herself. The world has slowly picked up the pieces & everyone worked hard to resume their lives right off where the Decimation left them hanging. Some succeeded, as easily as pressing the play button after putting a movie on a long pause, while some were never the same again despite regaining everything and everyone they have lost. The Avengers were the lucky ones. Lucky enough to go back to their normal or fortunate enough to be given a fresh start. Tony & Pepper got married & jetted off in a private island to finally start their long overdue family life. Sam moved back to D.C & resumed his work at the VA. Rhodey continued working as a military consultant & Wakanda has never been more occupied as it became the number one tourist spot in less then a year. Clint went back to retirement tugging Wanda along with him to his farm where Laura welcomed her with open arms. Thor & Bruce were off-planet helping the remaining Asgardians settle on a new home. Fury rebuilt his super spy network with Maria overseeing operations at the Avengers Facility, recruiting, training a new breed of response team. And Steve finally got Bucky back & they have spent the past year back in Brooklyn, traveling the world once in a while & even participating in USO tours and fairs. Everyone tried to move on and rightly so because at the end of the day, that's pretty much what's expected of everyone after any tragedy. Natasha, too has moved on. The only problem is, she chose to move on alone. * I don't own any of these characters or wish to infringe on any copy or intellectual rights. I'm just someone who has a deep love for the MCU that I can't help but try to keep the story going, keep these characters alive in more adventures, especially with 'endgame' hovering, looming over us.*
