Six years ago a group of 6 heroes banned together and made a team: the Avengers. Together they stopped Loki and his alien invasion. They again stopped Ultron and added some new members to the team at the end. Together they were unbeatable, a force to be reckoned with. No one was perfect, but they made it work. That is, until, one day they didn't.
Although the numbers of those fighting were greater than ever before, those core 6 that started the journey were not all together. They were not a team. In the end they lost. Not only did they lose, so did the rest of the universe. Thanos acquired all the infinity stones-power, space, reality, soul, time, and mind-just to wipe out half of all living life.
Now isn't a time for the remaining heroes to sit back and watch the world burn. No, now it was time for them to live up to their name and avenge the fallen. Now is the time for these heroes to stand up and show what it means to be not just a hero, but an Avenger.
A genius.
A solider.
A god.
A doctor.
An archer.
An assassin.
A colonel.
A thief.
A general.
A raccoon.
A daughter.
This is their Endgame.

After returning from Asgard, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Dean Allen stays busy to keep his mind off of wondering when Thor will return. But when a very familiar enemy arrives on earth and steals an object of vast comic power, the safety of the earth is challenged. Loki's aspiration to enslave earth with an army from the far reaches of space spurs S.H.I.E.L.D. to enact the Avengers Initiative. But will this team come together...or be torn apart? Note: this is a reimagining of the first Avengers film. While there will definitely be a lot of similarities between this work and the film, there will also be departures. I've done my best to maintain the general spirit of the film while also putting a spin on things to keep it interesting. Also, Thor and the main character are in a homosexual relationship. When the Avengers hit a Hydra base, to get back the scepter, they come across a room, where someone is bound, from the ceiling. Rescuing the fraile figure, they return to the jet victorious, only to find their rescue, is none other than Ana. She was barely conscious, and from clear signs, she was not there willingly. Taking her back to the tower, they try to help her, only to find that she has no memory of them, and now holding her own power. Thor wants nothing more than to destroy every single person who had hurt her, his need to protect her burning within him.
