Six years ago a group of 6 heroes banned together and made a team: the Avengers. Together they stopped Loki and his alien invasion. They again stopped Ultron and added some new members to the team at the end. Together they were unbeatable, a force to be reckoned with. No one was perfect, but they made it work. That is, until, one day they didn't.
Although the numbers of those fighting were greater than ever before, those core 6 that started the journey were not all together. They were not a team. In the end they lost. Not only did they lose, so did the rest of the universe. Thanos acquired all the infinity stones-power, space, reality, soul, time, and mind-just to wipe out half of all living life.
Now isn't a time for the remaining heroes to sit back and watch the world burn. No, now it was time for them to live up to their name and avenge the fallen. Now is the time for these heroes to stand up and show what it means to be not just a hero, but an Avenger.
A genius.
A solider.
A god.
A doctor.
An archer.
An assassin.
A colonel.
A thief.
A general.
A raccoon.
A daughter.
This is their Endgame.

It's been almost two years since the defeat of Thanos & the effects of the snap was successfully reversed. The world has slowly picked up the pieces & everyone worked hard to resume their lives right off where the Decimation left them hanging. Some succeeded, as easily as pressing the play button after putting a movie on a long pause, while some were never the same again despite regaining everything and everyone they have lost. The Avengers were the lucky ones. Lucky enough to go back to their normal or fortunate enough to be given a fresh start. Tony & Pepper got married & jetted off in a private island to finally start their long overdue family life. Sam moved back to D.C & resumed his work at the VA. Rhodey continued working as a military consultant & Wakanda has never been more occupied as it became the number one tourist spot in less then a year. Clint went back to retirement tugging Wanda along with him to his farm where Laura welcomed her with open arms. Thor & Bruce were off-planet helping the remaining Asgardians settle on a new home. Fury rebuilt his super spy network with Maria overseeing operations at the Avengers Facility, recruiting, training a new breed of response team. And Steve finally got Bucky back & they have spent the past year back in Brooklyn, traveling the world once in a while & even participating in USO tours and fairs. Everyone tried to move on and rightly so because at the end of the day, that's pretty much what's expected of everyone after any tragedy. Natasha, too has moved on. The only problem is, she chose to move on alone. * I don't own any of these characters or wish to infringe on any copy or intellectual rights. She chose to work for Stark, knowing that she was the best one for the role. She knew that her life would be different, working with the worlds most notoriously egocentric man, hell superhero, but she didn't care. She knew he needed help, staying on the right path and that's exactly what she did for him. What she didn't expect, was that one day, she'd meet someone worse than Tony. He claimed he wanted to take over the world, her world, but she was determined to stop him. Taking something valuable from him, ended up with her being thrown through the window from the tower, and hitting bottom, literally. She hated him with everything she had, knowing it was all his fault. But having him here again on earth, 'reformed', is what she was told, brought it all back, her nightmares, her anger and her desire. He made her life hell, for what he did, and now it was her turn, to destroy his life, in every way she could. Even more moody than Bucky, more sarcastic than Tony, more powerful than Wanda and definitely more angry than Hulk, the god of mischief better stay out of her way, if he knows what's good for him. Ana Barton, was the most purest souls Thor had ever encountered. She was strong willed, smart, brave and compassionate. Though he had only known her a few days, during the battle with Loki, he found that she had completely entranced him. Ana didn't know who she was before Clint had found her and saved her. She idolised him, and followed in his footsteps, becoming an agent of SHIELD. Her life takes a complete turn, when she finds herself taken after the battle. ***** When he had returned to Midgard, Earth a few years later, with a reformed Loki, he finds that she had been missing and presumed dead almost as long as he had been gone. When the Avengers hit a Hydra base, to get back the scepter, they come across a room, where someone is bound, from the ceiling. Rescuing the fraile figure, they return to the jet victorious, only to find their rescue, is none other than Ana. She was barely conscious, and from clear signs, she was not there willingly. Taking her back to the tower, they try to help her, only to find that she has no memory of them, and now holding her own power. Thor wants nothing more than to destroy every single person who had hurt her, his need to protect her burning within him. The only comfort she finds is in his brother and the metal armed soldier, needing them both to protect her. ***** Being in a new place, surrounded by so many people, she felt overwhelmed, terrified that they would hurt her like the others. She feels her wrists are now free, and that power within her, was now accessible again. After returning from Asgard, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Dean Allen stays busy to keep his mind off of wondering when Thor will return. But when a very familiar enemy arrives on earth and steals an object of vast comic power, the safety of the earth is challenged. Loki's aspiration to enslave earth with an army from the far reaches of space spurs S.H.I.E.L.D. to enact the Avengers Initiative. But will this team come together...or be torn apart? Note: this is a reimagining of the first Avengers film. While there will definitely be a lot of similarities between this work and the film, there will also be departures. I've done my best to maintain the general spirit of the film while also putting a spin on things to keep it interesting. Also, Thor and the main character are in a homosexual relationship.
