Superhumans--slow aging, agile, strong, intelligent creatures. Of those Goldbloods, some are give the Mark of the Guardian at birth. At the age of ten, they must leave their lives in the home world, Thanren, and reside on earth in clans, keeping the balance between the Breeds--werewolves, warlocks, vampires, and heathens--and humans.
