Y/n lost a lot of things throughout her lifetime. Because of this, she decides that she can't lose anything else. She tries not to get close to anyone in fear of losing them too. Though, she has to get close to Levi in order to get into the Scouts. What if she gets too close to him? What if he gets too close to her? This is a story about fearful love and trust.
This is "Eyes" and "The Walls We Built" but I redid the cover and now I'm writing how I want to currently.

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This story starts at the fall of Wall Maria from your perspective as a young girl who lived in the Shiganshina district, I'll leave the age unspecified if I can but at the end she will definitely be over 18 years old. I'm going to write for a female reader since it should be easier for me to write for this story that way, but I plan on doing more gender neutral stories in the future if this goes over well.
