'Death was becoming a sweet whisper, a beckoning hand waving to me. Calling me closer, promising the journey will not be as taxing as it seems. It was the intoxicating promise to be freed from the pain that this flesh causes me, it makes me want to slip and fall into that black void. Just for a moment, a moment of peace. And fall I do.'

Winter, a teen just shy of graduating wants nothing more than a normal life. But being the daughter of the last pureblooded shape shifter leaves little hope for that. Add the fact he wants her to forfeit that life for an ancient ritual to reveal the things that go bump in the night, and she is thoroughly hopeless.
With her mother's passing and nowhere left to turn, she has little choice but to run. When the one who is supposed to protect her is the one who will see her dead, who can she trust? How long can she survive on her own?

"What I'm about to tell you, you can't tell anyone else. My life depends on it. One slip, and I'll cease to exist. One wrong move and everything could go immensely wrong. The only person she dares to trust, Axel, is the only other one like her kind. Having to live a lie is catching up with her. The walls she's built to protect herself are crumbling down, brick by brick. She's injured, wounded so that she has to rely on someone else. Someone else who might turn out to her unknowing savior -- or ruin. But when Axel suddenly disappears, it'll take all her wits to find him. She'll have to battle her new-found feelings every step of the way. It might even take revealing her darkest secret to her rescuer. June teams up with an unlikely band, tracking down Axel's path and fighting his captors for his rescue. Will she succeed? It's anyone's guess. * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * My vision was growing ever more blurry with each second that passed. Breathing seemed like a luxury now and my legs wanted to give out and let me collapse. Almost there. We were so close. So close. I fell, completely spent. Axel glanced over his shoulder and screeched to a halt, sprinting back over. I could see the worry in his eyes. I could faintly hear him calling my name. My body was throbbing as I gazed with glazed eyes at the street tiles. The last thing I saw before my vision turned dark was dirty blonde hair and a pair of sky blue eyes. * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * Updates every Saturday
The Lost Hybrid (Completed) by Silaraphina32
16 parts Complete
I felt the bed dip as he sat down on the other side but I focused solely on my task until I was done. "This is a pillow barrier. Meaning, you don't breach this side of the pillows." I instructed, my voice firm. "What if I don't want anything between us?" Phoenix said in a husky voice, and I risked a glance. Bad choice. His eyes were dark and his gaze was on my lips, to my chest, then back to my lips. "Eyes up here, buddy." I snapped the third time his eyes went down to my chest. All he did was turn off the lights. When it was dark, he whispered," Can't I admire what is mine?" I had no answer, and turned on my side. He sighed. Despite taking two naps today, I was out cold the minute my head hit my pillow. I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there. ***** Adira has a secret, one she would do anything to protect. She's built barriers around her heart, so strong that only the most powerful force could break them down. Adira was an Alpha's daughter, 19 years old, and didn't want a mate. She was too focused on figuring out what her deadly secret meant for her and those she loved. When she discovered her mate was Alpha Phoenix, she was sure the Moon Goddess was trying to punish her. As truths unfold and loyalty is put to the test, her secret comes to light. Those she loves and the ones who would hurt her without a second thought find out, and she finds out a certain Twin has her in his sights. Will she open up to Phoenix? Will he break down her walls? Or will they both drown in truth's untold? (The first book in the Hybrid Series.) #4 in Werewolf #4 in Possessive mate *You may cry, laugh, smile, curse and/or experience mood swings while reading* * Warning: Not as cliche as it first seems:)*
Ayn's Healing by AMHillmann
54 parts Complete Mature
Ayn is a witch with healing powers. Shapeshifters have killed her parents and the only animals she cannot speak with are wolves. When she graduates from the Teaching Clan and finds out that she has to cross the River and live in the Wolves' Mountains for one year, she is less than amused. Kari, first-born shapeshifter Alpha, almost lost his wolf after the death of his mate. He could rise again and become the pack leader if only he would complete his training ...and find another suitable Luna. When he realizes that his second chance is his mother's guest, a daydreaming stubborn witch from across the River, he is less than amused. The bond may be a strong force, but can a witch walk the Wolves' Way and face the dangers it is paved with? **** "I need to stop..." I sigh, catching her wrist before her fingers reach the back of my neck, and I untangle her arm from me. She lingers on the recliner but now there is a big gap between our bodies. The warmth she left on my skin is quickly dissipating in the spring night. "Fine." Ayn stands and searches my eyes. Her scowl has my wolf whimper in submission and makes me curse my self-imposed hard line. "I am going to need your hoodie," she orders, stretching her hand out to me. "What?" I exclaim, briefly shocked by both the tone and the content of her words. My hands however are already executing her command, unzipping my jacket. "The last time I was able to sleep, I was covered with your hoodie. Your scent is comforting." She states it plainly as if it would be an obvious and broadly known fact. Like the Earth being round. Like two being a prime number. #1 in Healer - December 2021 #7 in Lycan - December 2022 ~95 000 words Cover photo by Jr Korpa via Unsplash Cover photo by Marc-Olivier Jodoin via Unsplash hi

Don't lose HOPE [COMPLETED]

43 parts Complete Mature

When no one talks to you anymore or even sees you, you wonder, what's the point? I could move after high school, I could start over, but it wouldn't change anything. I would still be that awkward girl. The one that hides in the shadows to stay out of people's way. I always sit in the back corner near the window in the classroom. I like to look outside toward the woods, especially when it's raining and the raindrops trail down the window. I watch their path from the top and all the way down to the bottom where they disappear. I wish I could disappear. --------------------------------------------------- This is a werewolf story. It contains mature content, sexual scenes, suacidal thoughts and little bit of violence.
