The Healer (Attack on Titan Fanfiction)

A healer, that's what she was. She could heal physical, and mental wounds. But a mental wound wasn't as easily healable as a physical one. But she was just the kind of girl who could help anyone with their issues and get them better.

Jemma Adair, always put other people's well being above herself, and would try to protect everyone. That's why she wanted to join the scouts, so she could learn how to fight the titans, and defend humanity. Especially after the sight of her adoptive mother being murdered by a titan during the fall of Shiganshima. But Jemma was also quiet, and reserved, only opening up to a select few. She learned that not everyone could be as easily trusted through rough experience during her early childhood days.

Jemma was born in the Underground city, into poverty like many others that resided there. Even so, she was born into a good family, and they were happy. Until everything changed when a terrible tragedy occurred that completely shattered their family dynamic. The only remaining members of the Adair family were Jemma and her father.

She soon met Levi, and it changed her life. They became best friends, and were very close. The pair soon moved in together when Jemma's father left her, leaving only a note behind for her. And when it was time for Levi and friends to leave the Underground to join the Scouts, he brought her along with them.

Everything was going good, until the day when Levi and Jemma were exploring the outside world. They encountered a titan, and were both completely unprepared to face it. Levi and her split up, after he told her to escape while she had the chance.

Grisha Jaeger found Jemma, and brought her into his family. She fit in well with the Jaeger family, and with the three friends, Mikasa, Eren, and Armin.

But like the saying goes, nothing good lasts forever.
