Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste were in the last semester of their junior year. To ease the stress after midterms, Miss Bustier assigns a project for the class to get to know each other by assigning pen pals.
But there's a catch, it's all anonymous. When Marinette and Adrien get paired together, they start signing their letters with code names.
"Ladybug" and "Chat Noir."
Both sides thought it was a joke at first, but as time goes on, Marinette starts having speculations that Chat Noir goes to her school, and it isn't just a code name.
While Adrien starts to fall in love with the Girl on the other side of the letters, Marinette starts getting closer to Adrien. And complications start arising.
Will they find out each other's true identities before Miss Bustier releases the pairings? Or will they have to figure it out on they're own?
