The plot of the story took place in Connecticut.

The story begins with a prologue. There we see that the Nationalities of the main character's parents are American and Nigerian.

At the age of sixteen Crystal had a traumatic experience of loosing both parents in one night. Livid with fear that the killers might return, she left home and became homeless.

A young man named Easton saw her, took her off the streets and offered her shelter.

Years passed, but the voices of the killers and the image of her parents  lying in a pool of blood remained alive in her mind.

A man named Nathaniel showed up inciting suspicion.

Easton and Crystal fell head over hills in love with each other. He could do anything to protect and make her happy. To prove his deep love and how much he wanted Crystal  permanently in his life, he asked her to marry him.

Finally, the wedding was around the corner and everything looked rosy until she found something dark about her past....Then the appearance of Nathaniel  made sense to her.All Rights Reserved
