The five clans lived by a lake. Until one day, they didn't. The clans have been destroyed. Rogues have claimed the land surrounding the lake as their own. Fewer survived the second. The third came, unexpected to both rogues and Clan cats alike, and set the forest to fire. The few Clan cats who had survived the first battles died of the smoke they inhaled. They didn't know what was happening - how could they? So they passed. But they didn't. Not all of them. The rogues, for one, thanked the unexplainable happening. It had gotten rid of the clan cats for them, while they themselves had gotten away relatively unscratched.
