You know when you end up in one of those near death experiences and people tell you that you have a guardian angel on your shoulder? Well, that’s not something people just say. It turns out that every single person in the world has their own little guardian angel. Not that they’re small or anything. They actually look like human beings – except no one is supposed to know that they exist, or how they look. How do I know all this? Well, let’s just say that my guardian angel doesn’t give a flying fuck about the rules. He does whatever he wants. Want to know what the worst part is? He enjoys being my guardian angel since I have a tendency to be really clumsy – most times.

L Lawliet, worlds greatest detective and possibly the smartest person alive... can't talk. Well, he can, but only to those he's deeply connected with. Partially mute, he hides behind his screen and solves crimes anonymously. Speaking to taskforces with text to speech, and no face shown. Until he's pushed into a corner with a particularly tricky case, and ends up having to make his first face to face interaction. What if Ryuzaki and Hedeki Ryuga weren't just aliases? What if there was more than one person occupying the mind of the worlds greatest detective? This is an AU in which L has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) otherwise known as Multiple Personality Disorder. This stared as a three part oneshot series in my other book, but people loved the idea so much they kept requesting more. So I've moved all the oneshots into their own book as they follow the same story line and ended up long enough to be a short story. DID is a very real and very hard to live with trauma disorder and I am in to way trying to glorify it. I just thought the idea of each alias being a different person very interesting. This disorder has a negative stigma behind it and that negative stigma needs to be destroyed. I've done as much research as I can to make this accurate.
