The girl who can never fully satiate her lust for books. The fictional character that defies the extent of perfection. And the boy who's afraid of the ocean and lives under pretenses. Put them all together to create the destruction of the world, more or less. - For someone who's unfathomably in love with books, we all have that seemingly perfect male character we wish that coexists with us. And to Lucy Parker, it's beyond surreal when she accidentally summons the man of her dreams, from her favorite book. But to her rotten luck, someone takes away her too-good-to-be-true prince and the mystical book, causing such a fiasco. She has to find Cato, the once-fictional hotshot, in 59 days or not just handsome men but even the most grotesque monstrosities from all the written books in the history of literature will come to life. And then there's Mason, a brazen and utterly gorgeous man who introduces himself as the only person who knows where Cato could possibly be. Lucy and Mason has to endure their condemned partnership in order to fix the broadening ripples that will break the thread between fantasy from reality. But between the confusing pages, intoxicating coffee and wanderlust under the same sky, they will never realize how close they are from what they're looking for.

Annalise sees the world as though she is looking at it from afar. As if it's just a meaningless painting in a museum that she is observing. Admiring the beautiful strokes and the imperfections that somehow manage to make it even more intriguing. The last thing she would ever expect is someone reaching out from the painting and pulling her inside. The colors feeling as though she can practically taste them on her tongue. Suddenly being indulged by something she once saw as so two dimensional. Something that she once thought had no soul, no form of beauty beneath the surface. Only being able to see a pretty frame and gorgeous yet seemingly meaningless brush strokes. A life hidden in plain sight.
