Ariana Mayson is weird. Like seriously, weird. She's your typical loner, but what's different is that whenever people see her, she has her head down, a pen in her grasp and she's scribbling something on a piece of lined paper. When she's finished writing, she folds the parchment into a paper plane and throws it. Then, no matter if it lands 20 metres away or right in front of her, she bolts as fast as she can, aiming to get as far away from the harmless object as she can. Calum Moore noticed that she's been doing this since seventh grade.
It's been three years since Ariana Mayson became the freak of Ellis High School, making paper planes out of letters and then running away from them before they could explode in her face (of course, they would never physically explode, but judging by how fast she runs, it sure seems like they could potentially self-destruct) and Calum wants to know why she does it. Being the know-it-all, snobby (yet, attractive) guy that he was, he hated not knowing her reasons. So one eventful day he finally decides that he would collect every single one of the planes that she makes and read them, hoping to find the minuteness of reason.
What do they say? How will Ariana react when she finds out someone's reading them? Will Calum find what he's looking for? Could something else potentially spark out of this, maybe love? Find out in "Paper Planes" by Mariel Kylle!
