A young pink hedgehog got her heart broken by her very first boyfriend. Her ex boyfriend calmed that she was to clingy and that she wouldn't let him speak to any of his female friends. He ends up breaking up with her, but that was the biggest mistake of his life. The girl later grows up and goes through things, she ends up meeting someone who she thinks is worthy for her. She forces that someone to give up his body to her and become her's forever. That someone deicides he will actually go off and fall for her. But is it truly a good choice? Dating a killer?

Everything changes for Aurora and a black hedgehog named Shadow when they crash into each other at Shadow Canyons. The two hedgehogs train each other for future challenges, until the death of Amy Rose occurs. Devastated, Aurora goes out to search for the Chaos Emeralds to save all the dimensions in existence (later figuring out she has to do more), figure out more about her powers, and to find Shadow's missing ex-girlfriend. They meet a sprite, a loyal wolf, a resistance, a young bat, a twist-hearted meerkat, and twin hedgehogs that share similarities with Shadow and Aurora. Throughout the journey, they all learn the power of teamwork, making Shadow feel unsure since what happened on Space Colony ARK and the last fiasco teaming up with Eggman. Shadow and Aurora get closer throughout the mission, but will they remain strong? Will they work together to accomplish the pink hedgehog's promise to her deceased BFF and mother? Why would Shadow team up with Aurora and their "friends"? Could it be to reach destiny, or true love? Who knows what'll happen next? What would Sonic think of all of this? So many questions.
