Reina wants nothing more than to live a life as if she never existed. Using her infamous glares and rude remarks is the only way she can keep them away, the only way she can be invisible just the way she wants, but does she really want that?
She thinks she has it all figured out as she begins her journey through senior year. Don't talk anyone and don't trust anyone.
What she doesn't expect is a four month long community service project with the most un-anti social person in the school, who seems immune to her glares and smiles at her every attempt to get him to hate her. Join Reina on her journey of unexpected twists, heart break, joy, and excitement as she finally finds, not what she was looking for but what she needed all along.

"Reina! Reina how could you? After everything I did for you? Why?!" I yelled 😭 "You pathetic little thing," she cooed. "You actually took the blame for it? I can't believe how easy it was to get him to hate you!" She clapped her hands like an eager child. My eyes froze. "Get him to...hate me?" I asked in bewilderment. "Of course. This has been a part of my plan since the day I first layed my eyes on you, the day he showed interest in you, and it became my mission to destroy you. Consider this your fault for being so damn pretty. You were a good friend though, and you listened. So, consider yourself lucky that you were privileged enough to be called my friend, let alone even know me." The tears started to fall, and I could no longer hold back my sobs. "I guess you'll have to move now or something, so I wish you good luck. Have fun making friends, okay bestie? Love you babes, gotta go. My future boyfriend awaits me. Thanks again !" As she hugged him, I watched from afar the last of them I would ever see. His eyes met mine for a brief moment, but it felt like a lifetime. They were as cold as the winter snow, those dark violet eyes, and the most beautiful I had ever seen, yet the ones that ha

Or will he be the cause of her destruction? ---------------------------- ~Noah's pov~ 'These,' I slowly run my finger across one of her scars, 'are fucking beautiful.' Before she can object, I carry on. 'Maya you are beautiful beyond perfection. You are strong. You are brave. You are funny. You are sweet. You are incredible. Look at yourself,' I nod down towards the scars on her arm and she slowly glances down at them before meeting my gaze again, 'those scars are beautiful. Do you know why?' I ask her. She wipes a tear from her already tear-stricken face before she shakes her head. 'Because every time you decided to do that to yourself, you didn't go further, you didn't end your life. You decided to carry on living even when you thought you couldn't manage it. Those scars right there,' I gesture to them again, 'show the battles you won against yourself. They are your battle-scars and you shouldn't be ashamed of them. And you know what? I am so proud of you for making it to where you are today because you are a fighter and If I can see that, anyone can.'
