V5 arrives and Kaito is facing the struggles as a V3 Vocaloid. With nowhere to go, he dreads the fall of his popularity. The man truly is caught in quicksand.. but is there really no way out of it? He bumps into a fellow ice cream lover. Do you think this new face will be able to pull him out of the quicksand of his helplessness? You should know.. Because that person is you. ***** Hi there! This is a VOCALOID fanfic I wrote for fun. It's inspired by the song, "Quicksand" by VocaCircus aka CircusP (You should go listen to it :D and more of their songs!). It is originally sung by KAITO and I really enjoyed listening to the deep lyrics and his beautiful voice :3 so I thought it would be cool to make a story about it. This is my first time writing so please have mercy! Oh also if you like what you read please leave a vote and a comment, it'll really help me keep going. Enjoy!

From Korea to Japan, Miku Hatsune has moved back into her home-country. She's been there for about a month, preparing for the upcoming school year. One day, her childhood friend (and her old singing partner I guess..), Kaito Shion, has been running an ice cream stand for a while now. Is Kaito going to offer Miku a leek-flavored ice cream (if there is one) and sing with her, or no? (Completed on 12/28/15. Updated on 08/14/17.)
