Naomi Imoan (ee-mo-an') was a normal girl living her happy life when suddenly, she was trapped in the digital world with the rest of the digidestined. Everyone feels unsure about their chances of getting back home, but Naomi encourages and inspires them that they will make it through. She also inspires a certain, cool blonde boy. 

  She doesn't get her digimon straight away like the others and has to search for her partner on her own while finding her way back home.
