Everything was going so well: a perfect new job with a perfect new boss and a perfect new home. 

But then I discovered that the perfect boss was, in fact, a paranoid loony who wanted to lock me up in his glorified bomb shelter and do unspeakable things to me.

And I couldn't afford to leave the now less-than-perfect job or I'd lose the perfect home.
