At the tender age of twenty one, Krysta Williams had to watch her only family member, her dad, die. With no choice, she promises the last thing that he wants: to marry Nathan Pierce.

Thing is, she hates Nathan, and vise versa.

Why her dad and Max Pierce ever made the ridiculous pact to get them married, she'll never know. All she knew was that she does not want to get married to Nathan. But how is she supposed to deny her father on his deathbed? She doesn't. It wasn't like she hated the family or anything, and Max was just as much as a father as her dad was.
