Salem Rines keeps dying prematurally. 

Well, it's not like her life has ever been easy. With her parents murdered in her childhood she has no one and nothing but Carter. Carter is her everything, her purpose in life - a purpose she has no problem following. Unfortunately, her deaths are out of cycle and so, the Grim Reaper himself Enirr comes to investigates. 

With the bond between them growing each day, Salem will soon learn that maybe, there is more to life worth living than just Carter. And  Enirr will learn why his brothers Lucifer and Cronas left the Almighty so many lifetimes ago.
