I carry her out to the truck and set her in the passenger seat. She whimpers and reaches for my warmth again. I hurry around to the other side of the truck, then start it. As I reach the door she is still in the seat but I can tell that something is wrong.
As I open the door I hear a bloodcurdling scream.... SHIT
"LUNA!? What is it baby? Wake up!" I yell frantically
" No please, stop! HELP!" She whimpers
When I finally get her up she's drained and terrified
"Hey" she rasps
" Hi baby are you okay?" I question
She just kinda looks at me like i'm on crack
"okay stupid question..." I scratch the back of my neck
"Can we go home now?" she asks with wide eyes
"Yeah."
I start the car and the ride home is silent, and when we get in the house she goes straight to sleep. I am unbelievably pissed that charlie would try to take her. Especially in front of me. But the good thing is that he got what was coming to him.
