Let's give this blurb thing a shot.

~ Felix rummaged around in a field filled with millions of clovers intertwined to the ground. Nails filled to the rim with dirt and mud on his trainers, he carried on his search. Endlessly, he kept going until it was almost time for night to rise.
"Felix... please come home." A small, weak voice came from behind him.
"Shut up I don't wanna ! I hate it there ! I hate you, that slut and Daddy too !" His voice was piercing, his words hit the girl and sliced through her like a knife.
"Please don't say that..." Her voice was trembling as she was holding back her tears - clearly hurt from his words. He furrowed his eyebrows and took a peek at her, only to realise what he had done.
"Hey.. don't cry.." At the sound of his voice she started sniffling and looking away. Felix stood up and put his arms around her, rubbing her back so she would settle down.
"I'm sorry Aimee..."
"It's fine, we'll just have to put up with each other from now on, okay ?" She gave him the slightest smile as the sun set and night begun. ~
