This is the first draft of the story Every age, the gods read the prophecy: two souls bound by fate - one of fire, one of shadow. One must fall so the world may rise again. Hestia of Pyraea was born from flame - the phoenix reborn, a goddess in mortal form, destined to save the realms. Worshiped, gilded, raised for glory. Olethros of Téphra was born from ash - a child of ruin, a curse made flesh, destined to destroy what she protects. Feared, shunned, left to survive in the dark. But when the prophecy awakens on Hestia's eighteenth year, something ancient stirs - something the gods never foresaw. Because when creation and destruction finally meet... Who will win? Will the world be reborn Or will the world burn to ashes...
