Nira sighs, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Well we gotta figure something out." She looks at him, one eyebrow quirked up, looking to see if he had any ideas, but looked away disappointed when Ezekiel simply shrugged. "Great, I'm stuck on a lump of rubbish in the middle of nowhere with an idiot," she said throwing her arms in the air in defeat.

I rocked her and stroked her hair. "I'm sorry," she told me after we were sitting like that for a while. "You have nothing to apologize for anything, Princess.
