Everything I have been taught about fairy tales and love told me that we'd be together. Isn't it always that the imperfect girl with nothing specials about her gets the perfect boy with the deep blue eyes and locks of perfect hair. And that perfect boy sees her as perfect and they live happily ever after. Perfect. He's her prince charming who comes and saves her from her bad times. He was my Prince Charming who saved me from my disastrous life. He was the only one who made me smile in a heartbeat the one who knew things about me that no one else did. All the bullshit that I have been taught at a young age about love is the evidence that we should have worked out, that he was that one i'd share a forever with. But in the real world, I didn't get a forever.

"Does it bother you?" "Yes! I bet you would too if you were kidnapped!" I waited frustratedly for a reply. Finally, the man spoke again, voice cracking with static. "Actually, we saved you and brought you here. So technically speaking, we didn't kidnap you." I scoffed at the nerve of this disembodied voice. "Take me home!" "Er...no." The machine clicked off, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get it back on. As soon as I get out of this room...I swear someone's ballsack is going to be shoved down their throat... ~*~ For my final year of this hell of a high school I expected it to be just like all the rest. [Completed✔] "Like in Fairytales this story has princesses and prince with their endearing passion and eternal love and compassion. People who aren't selfish but kind and think of others. People who are perfect." Well I could say this but then I would be lying. This is not a story about perfectionism but the opposite. Where the characters realize that their is as much horror in the light as there is beauty in the dark. Where they learn the only way you can describe life is that it goes on. That love is not finding a soulmate who tames your wildness but someone who runs wild with you. That the only way out of this labyrinth of life is through it. That it takes more than a pulse, a working pair of lungs and a pumping heart to call a homo sapien a human. It's a journey of people, being pretentious and perfect, to being a hot mess. Life may be safer at the sidelines but the real game is in the playground. .... STARTED ON 18TH JANUARY 2020. ENDED ON 19TH NOVEMBER 2020 ..... It's a new project I shall be working on. I meet him at the right time. Or a completely wrong one, depending on the perspective you look from. I am not the one to fall head over heels in love with someone and he is not the guy someone should even fall in love with. But there are all the witty comebacks, the unplanned meetings at the bar, the rides on his motorcycle, all the laughs we share before the morning ... It does something to both of us. It changes us to the extent where we suddenly can't live without all of this. He is not a good guy. He's as bad as it gets. But he's perfect for me. I want to believe our story is a modern fairy tale with a more realistic ending. You won't get the princess-prince bullshit from me. You'll get it how it is with no sugar-coating.
