Pierce was 10 when he was diagnosed with an eye cancer that not only took one eye,but the second not long after. While he is coping with the loss of sight he meets a girl that he can't see but he takes comfort in her angelic voice. As Pierce tries his hardest to stay by her side, and keep up he soon realizes he is only a burden to her.
