I sighed and pulled away from his house at a slow pace. We had to go onto the main highway that ran through the town to get to school. At one point when the road had narrowed and there was no median between my side of the road and the other I looked up into my mirror to check behind me to see if I could slow down safely. When I looked back to the road ahead I got distracted by Stephen staring at me and I begun to stair back.
"Maggie!" My brother screamed at me. Everything suddenly went slow, though I knew that it was going much faster. The second that I look at the front of my car I saw another car about to crumble into me. I looked back at Stephen and he had his seat belt undone. He was jumping in front of me taking the wheel and swerved the car left, so it would hit his side. Without thinking I never took my foot off of the gas until after we collided.

SAMUEL'S OBSESSION
As I was writing, a large tatted hand covered my hand to stop me from writing. My heart jumped as so did I from my seat. My eyes were opened wide as I looked at the reason for my fright. I rolled my eyes when I saw Samuel laughing at me. "What the fudge crackers are you doing here?" The look of amusement still on his face. "Fudge crackers? Watch your mouth there Lily. That kind of profanity offends me." He held his hand over his chest. I rolled my eyes and sat back down. "I told you last night that I will see you today." I sighed and sat back with my arms crossed my chest. "Don't look at me like that. Put your stuff away. I'm taking you to eat for our first date." I was about to protest, but he interrupted. "Don't even think about protesting. I know for a fact that you haven't eaten so let me help you pack so we can get going." He got up closing my books and shoving it into my bookbag. I just let him. He was right. I haven't eaten and now I was feeling hungry since he mentioned it. Without saying a word, I adjusted my notes and closed my notebook handing it to his waiting hand. Once he had it, he put it in my bookbag. He then slung it over his shoulder and motioned for me to follow him. Once I was by his side, he placed his huge hand on the small of my back and guided me out of the library. He opened the back door tossing my bookbag on the backseat. Then he opened the passenger seat lifting me by my waist and placing me on the seat. He then reached for the seatbelt and fastened it for me. He closed the door and finally sat on the drivers seat. "I can fasten the seatbelt on my own you know." He looked at me and smirked. "I know babe, but I insist to secure my woman." I rolled my eyes as he called me his woman. I had barely made it a step when I say a man walking towards me. He too had a digital clock thing on top of his head too, except his had todays date, September 10th, and his timer read, 00:00:12. I didn’t know what to expect, but I wanted to see what happened when the clock clicked down, so I stood and watched him. 00:00:09, 00:00:08, 00:00:07, 00:00:06, 00:00:05, 00:00:04, 00:00:03, :00,00:02. I didn’t know what to assume for 00, but I watched patiently as he looked both ways and crossed the road, and then, just like clockwork, 00:00:00, and a car came speeding out of nowhere, and knocked the man down. He was dead. Somehow, between him dying and me freaking out, I had an epiphany; I saw when people were going to die. And then I officially had my first panic attack since my mom died. Boysenberry Moonchild Roxburgh is your average girl who happened to get hit by lightening, starts seeing when people are going to die, meets a soul reaper and his pissed off half brother, gets hired by death and is being constantly annoyed by a stalker black cat and her dead mother who she can now see. I began shaking my head quickly as she pointed the pistol gun at me. I tried to talk but I couldn't. The words wouldn't come out. I was dead already. Tears started streaming down her face now. "It was either you or us." She waved the gun about now wiping her tears, looking down at her stomach "That thing called Karma ain't a bitch like me". She mumbled clicking the pistol.
