After the death of her baby sister, Y/n is free. She can breathe how she wants, think about what she wants, and live how she chooses to.  For the first time, Y/n can be happy. As her life begins to grow so do Damian's feelings for her. Not used to having feelings, or having Y/n truly expressing hers, Damian lashes out more easily and becomes discombobulated. 

So when he is approached by a masked figure who offers him a chance to do things his way, Damian is more than pleased to accept. By doing this he leaves Y/n with the thoughts of their past and what their future may be. 

And as her thoughts begin to grow, one can only wonder if she is truly freed from the demon?

He doesn't have the help of his past family, and his new family thinks his stone cold. His thoughts are plagued with Talias voice, constantly telling him how he's failed her. Can he find the strength to say something? Or will he just hold everything in and keep putting up a fake front? . . .
