Ethan and Killian escaped. Kind of. They were on their way to the safety camps that the military set up when a missile hits their plane, causing them to crash. It is just Ethan and Killian now. With Killian wounded, it doesn't make it any better. Especially since they are in the half snowy woods 300 miles away from the camp. Ethan still experiences flashbacks, visions, and slow-mo which he still can't explain. And Killian is still the Christian that stops Ethan from doing the stupid stuff. Still wanting his memory, he pieces together the flashbacks and weird symbols he sees while running from the various bombs that can deliver them to hell. They use their knowledge from the past to help guide them through the forest to get to the checkpoint set up 100 miles from the forest... but getting there won't be easy. --I would like to thank those that stuck with me and continued to read my series and books.
