I found some old English IV assignments that I am still puzzled how I got A's on them. They are short fiction assignments where we had read a short fiction story prior then we had to write our own using the same elements the story we just read had.
Here's the stories and their Model story
Darkness of the Forest-The model story for this was "One Size Eats All"
Last Stop-The model story for this was "Roadside Pickup"
Hell hounds-The model story for this was "The Boogeyman"
I wish i could remember the author(s) of the model stories but these were from 2013, my senior year of high school so sorry. If anyone knows who wrote the model stories titled above please let me know.All Rights Reserved

The Sign of Raphael (Rough Draft Novella) by KyleWilley

If you read one thing from me in your whole life, please don't let it be this. This was a rough draft for a class, and my first written work of such a magnitude (other than perhaps some interactive fiction, which was better). I tried to handle it as a short story, and honestly it fails in that criteria. I've added chapters and some revisions to make it less odious. There is improvement throughout the novella, though there are also really obvious errors I haven't bothered to correct and wouldn't make nowadays. Supernatural-twinged cyberpunk action-adventure novella with a mystical-religious overtone. Dates back to February 2013. This is from a while back, and I was more into writing action than writing deeper more philosophical stuff. Not that it didn't try. Had to write it for a class, but I really did enjoy doing it at the time. Although it aimed to just be urban fantasy, the successor was set in one of my overarching settings I worked on for years. The instructor told me at the end of class that "You will make a great teacher, you give excellent feedback." Just be forewarned: this novella is a rough draft for a final draft damned by faint praise.

This Demon was born a human but turned into a beast that only knows how to kill. this Demon was worshiped in hell and in Earth or heaven they shake in fear. The devil himself raised her himself and now she is known as DD. The Devils Daughter............ ------------ There is Language. Fun fact: A cats meow is they're way of communicating with people. Cats meow for many reasons- like to say hello, to ask for things, and to tell us when something's wrong. Meowing is an interesting vocalization in that adult cats don't actually meow at each other, just at people. I can vouch for that since my two cats never meowed at each other, just at the humans.
