Ariel and Mason Cortéz were forced out of their home to live, or not even live, survive. Soldiers have taken over raiding every shelter and area on earth they can. Ariel made a promise to her mom to always protect her brother Mason right before her mom had died. A long the way they meet their constant hero Luke Tate. He makes it hard for Ariel to have control over Mason, and she instantly has beef with Luke, but when she gets to know him will that change?
