" *hik*...*hik*...*hik*.." nagising ako sa pagkakaidlip sa sala ng may narinig akong umiiyak. Hinanap ko kung saan nanggagaling ang ingay.
Napansin kong sa kwarto ko nagmumula ang pagiyak. Hinanda ko ang sarili ko dahil baka may nakapasok na magnanakaw o mamamatay tao sa sarili kong condo.
Dahan dahan akong pumasok sa nakabukas na pinto ng kwarto. Sa loob, nakita ko ang pinagmumulan ng pagiyak. Mula sa taong pinakamamahal ko. Nakatalikod syang nakaupo sa kama ko.
Bakit umiiyak?
Ayokong nakikita ko syang umiiyak.
'Chaeng...' lumapit ako sa kanya at nakita kong yakap yakap nya ang litrato ko.
'Babe? Bakit ka umiiyak?...' hindi sya sumagot.
Sinubukan kong punasan ang pisngi nya pero....
Pero tumagos lng ang kamay ko sa kanya.

Tuluyan na pala akong hindi nag eexist sa mundong to.
Nakaitim syang damit, nakapatong ang ulo sa tuhod habang patuloy na umiiyak sa madilim na kwarto ko. Nakikita ko sa mga mata nya ang kalungkutan at pagdadalamhati. Kitang kita sa mata nya ang sakit na dina dala nya.
Bakit?....bakit ganon? Dapat nasasaktan ako, dahil nakikita ko syang malungkot.
Kasabay ba ng pagkawala ko sa mundong ito ang pagkawala ng pakiramdam ko?
Gusto ko syang yakapin. Gusto ko syang kausapin at sabihing nandito lang ako. Gusto kong umiyak para damayan sya, pero walang nagtangkang luha ang lumabas saking mga mata.
Bago pa man kita maihatid sa altar, nangako na akong di kita iiwan kahit anong mangyari....kaya siguro nandito pa rin ako. Dahil di kita kayang iwan.
