Jasper Jenkins and five of his friends are having a reunion five years after their college ended. After realizing that their college life together wasn't very eventful, they make plans to create new memories together. A hike up in the scenic beauty of the North American Cascade mountains seems like the perfect plan! After all, it is a popular spot to hike, considering all the Bigfoot hoaxes and sightings around.
Little do they know, that someone - or something - has been "hiking" around in those mountains for years. Things take a turn for the worse, when unforeseen events force the friends to take a detour off into the dense forest. Is the legend of Bigfoot only a myth? Are the fast flowing rivers and commonly found black bears the only concern for the six friends? Or is there something legendary and much more dangerous out there indeed?
