Elizabeth is a 16 year old girl who is faced with way more than most girls her age. She usually finds herself hidden in her bedroom to protect herself from the ticking time bomb that is her abusive father. She has a step mother who loves her as much as a real mother, but Elizabeth's real mother, Trisha, dropped off the face of Miami. No one knew weather she was murdered, ran away, committed suicide or what possibly happened. Whilst most teens are ecstatic for summer, Elizabeth is absolutely dreading it. Not so long after, something terrible happens which makes Elizabeth go on a forbidden trip to "escape" the time bomb. What has happened? Who will she meet? What will she learn about her past?
