For Mark Drummond, a officer for the Chicago police department, that was the day he was shot. 6 years in the force, nothing prepares you for what happens on the day you are injured in the line of duty. But scars remained. Scars on her back and scattered over her extremities turned men off from her. Still she continued on, becoming an OT and working under the doctor who helped her she changed the lives of many others like herself.
