Working part time at a used books store and living in her best friend's apartment was not what Isadora had in mind when she decided to flee to Rome after her ex-fiancé let her down in a way she could never imagine.
Her heart starts to beat faster again at the moment she meets Luca, an Italian with dark eyes and messy hair, who enters in the store with a box full of letters. In those paper boxes, Isa discovers a love story from the past, but there is a catch: the ending is not written anywhere else. Wanting some answers, they leave on a journey through the cobblestone streets of the Italian capital.
On her way, Isa faces new desires, feelings, problems and insecurities.
Will she find what's she's looking for?
Or will she find something she could never expect?

Twice in Rome is a novel in which the past and the present intertwine; two love stories wrapped by the poetry of every corner of the Eternal City.

I'll upload new chapters as soon as I finish each translation.
Also, comments and thoughts are VERY welcomed! Thanks a lot!

[[Book 2 (FINAL book) of "One Lifetime is Never Enough"]] "I would have waited for you forever." The lament of a faraway voice that she had missed - that she had been longing to answer to - echoed in her mind. "But, you are no longer here." The despairing sigh was a muted murmur - clawing at her, begging for her to respond. But she was there, here, wherever the voice was. But then again, she might as well was not. She could no longer see, could no longer reach him. The voice sounded so near, but it was also as far as another world she could no longer be in. Nevertheless, she could still feel, in the darkness that was cradling her non-existence; the agony she felt in her non-beating heart, in her dormant soul, it was all due to her longing. For the owner of the voice. For him. The voice kept begging in agony - tormenting her, tormenting himself. And she could not do anything. "Please wait for me." "Please remember me." "Why... why can't I see you?" "Won't you wait for me?" ----------------- For you, I will wait for eternity. This time, I will wait. This time, it is my turn to wait. So please, please just let me find you. Please, be there when I find you. Please, tell me that you are still mine. That I still exist, perhaps not in your memory, but etched in your very soul. Like you have been deeply engraved in mine, lingering like a beautiful illness I will gladly bear and succumb to. Because, I will search to all corners of this world, and wait until the end of days. For you. Because, this world will always be wretched without you. And then, I will always, forever, bloom. For you. -----------------

Getting Through Italy

34 parts Complete Mature

Isobel encounters many challenges when she moves to Italy, but managing a long-distance relationship is the biggest one. *** Italy: home of pizza, pasta and prosecco. It will also be Isobel's home for the next year as she embarks on her Erasmus placement in Bologna. However, she soon discovers that life in Italy isn't just about enjoying the local cuisine. Language barriers, culture shocks and an unfamiliar city are just some of the obstacles she'll have to contend with during her time there. Then there's the added challenge of a long-distance relationship. Living 1000 miles away from each other, Nathan and Isobel find their chemistry more explosive than ever when together, but struggle to maintain the same level of emotional intimacy when apart. With the help of her flatmate, Isobel creates a list of ideas to prevent the distance from having an impact on her relationship. From romantic love letters to racy Skype sessions, Isobel hopes that her list will contain everything she needs to help her--and Nathan--get through Italy.
