Seraph Daelynne and her friends run into Sam Belcourt, Chelsea O'Callahan and Mason Thomas at a party hosted by one one of the most popular kids in the school Chris Winters. Interested by the sketchiness of the trio, Seraph's group agree to vacation with them for a week in a house in the outskirts of LA.

They arrive and agree to play Never Have I Ever. But as the player number ticks inescapably down, and secrets are outed about the true nature of the game, who will get out alive?

***

"Never have I ever witnessed a bathtub electrocution," says Chelsea, her face still smiling menacingly, almost entirely full of malice. She clearly isn't above killing one of us to make sure she stays alive.

The film passes across her eyes like everyone else's, and she gets up and makes for the house, a look of extreme terror on her face. We run after her, holding our breath. She climbs the stairs towards her bathroom, and Ember speaks while slapping her across the face.

"Chelsea? Shit! You're not watching someone else's electrocution, you're witnessing your own!"

As it were, all her questions would be answered in the bayous of New Orleans when she meets the mysterious and handsome Noah Landry. Noah is the Alpha of an old pack in the swamps who are eager for a Luna. The fact that's she human meant nothing to him, but everything to his father and former Alpha. They will face a threat like never before while also be thrust in a war they never saw coming. "I was shocked when she tried to shove past me, like actually attempted to move me. She was all of five feet tall and the tiniest woman I had ever seen, and she was trying to square up to me. Her arm touched mine and it took everything I had to keep it together. Her tiny gasps filled my ears as her eyes looked up and into mine. She felt it too. I nearly had a celebratory dance party right there. She was human and she felt the connection, too. This was perfect. I grabbed her arm and bent down so I could look into her eyes. I needed more of her. I took a deep breath, filling my nose with her amazing scent. "Please stay." I begged her, my eyes pleading with her not to leave me. "You're hurting me." Her tiny voice broke my heart. I immediately let go of her wrist. When she said my name, I decided that no one in the history of the world has ever heard their name sound like that. She slipped past me and was out the door." "You like this, don't you?" Sam grins, running his tongue over his lip ring. "You're turned on by it." "Please," I wave my hand in dismissal. "You are," he accuses, his voice light. He does it again. I can't look away. "Stop." "Why should I? Little Miss 'I hate everyone at Ryder' really does find me irresistible. Who am I to deny her?" Sam's voice has something of an edge to it and my eyes snap to his. "'Little miss 'I hate everyone at Ryder', huh?" I ignore the second part of his jab. "That's right." I lean against my wardrobe, crossing my arms over my chest. "There's only a few people at Ryder I really can't stand, and you're at the top of my list." Sam's eyes narrow on me. "Is that so?" He turns from the mirror and takes a step in my direction. I refuse to back down, tilting my chin up to keep his gaze as he crowds into my space. His eyes hold mine until he's close enough that I can feel the warmth of his breath over my cheeks and his focus shifts to my mouth. He runs his tongue over the lip ring again, and I feel my own lips part slightly as he does it, my breath coming a little faster. My stomach is pulsing with a mix of nervousness and something I'm not totally ready to admit to myself. ---- Logan Grey's a 16 year-old girl with a penchant for Bob Dylan and running long distances. When her father dies suddenly, she and her best friend come up with a scheme to keep her from moving to her grandparents' Ohio estate: two years of boarding at her Connecticut hometown's highly renowned prep school. But a fluke lands Logan in a room with Ryder Academy's hottest, baddest boy and it's pretty obvious they're not going to get along. At least until Sam Evans and his sexy-as-hell lip ring saunter into her life, upending everything she thought she knew. [This story contains strong language and sexual content. You've been warned!]
