Melina Laverich isn't the popular queen bee, like Riley Wulksberry, but she's not the geeky math nerd either. She knows how to maintain a good social life, but also stay out of bullying the kids who aren't in the top 30 of the school. You could say Melina is right in the middle and in a great position at that. In the beginning of her junior year, Oliver Jason attends her oh-so-drama-filled high school. At first, the two start out as friends. Melina helps Oliver get around for his first weeks and tries to make him comfortable. The two of them don't know that they're going to eventually fall for each other, until it's too late.
