Awaken (Young Writers Short Story Entry)

Every day is the same
You wake up the exact same way
You go to bed the same way
You are given the same chores every day
Your life is not your own. Instead it is all mapped out for you
In this new world there is no such thing as free will and choices do not exist
You are paired with one person of someone else's choosing, you are assigned where to live, told how to act, how to talk, how to walk
All are in a state of dreamless sleep now there is but one thing to do
Awaken.
