Scarlet is a ruthless pirate that wants to free herself from her past.

Drew is a childish mermaid that is trying to avoid her inevitable future position and uncover some answers.

When the two are joined together by fated incident, they realize that things aren't so black and white as they seem. Together they must learn how to get along and work together to stop an uprising between species. On the way,  secrets are uncovered and feelings arise. But when a dark truth is exposed, the two are put into a difficult situation. Will they choose to save each other or sacrifice everything they've built along the way?

Grinning at me madly, my eyes narrowed distastefully as his hand touched my crimson scales, stroking the tail almost lovingly. "Is this how you repay your saviour, pirate?"
