You can't handle Angela. She has her own mind and that shit you not use to. Maybe it's time you get the right woman with the right stuff."



"Macy, What were you thinking?! What were you trying to do?!" I  yelled at my friend as I stormed into my LA home.

"Ange, calm down. You're over reacting." 

"Over..over reacting. You set me up with a man you know I can't stand. A man who has humiliated me in high school. A man who admits to being a man whore...And likes it!" I shouted grabbing a bottle of wine and pouring myself a glass.

"Ange, Marcellus ain't that bad. Like sure he admitted to being a male whore and that he likes it. And maybe he has a bit of a conceited complex. And may be he parties too much. And has millions of women. But..he's a good guy. Your problem is that you're too bullheaded and stubborn. It's ok to be a strong black woman who's independent and morally grounded. I leaned ahead to peck Brandon who moved his face in my direction and instead of his cheeks, our lips crashed. Brushing against each other, our lips touched. I could feel fireworks exploding inside my entire body.
