Arya lives a privileged life in the castle of Algvadon, set to inherit the scales and follow her fathers legacy.

The scales collective protect us from them, the unruly, the unpredictable, the creatures that favour war. Humans. 

The humans are ... un-gifted, it's what made us a threat to them. When the world was one, earth shared stories of mermaids, gods, witches, warlocks, fairies, vampires, werewolf's, monsters, heroes, unexplained strengths that are now mere myths. But the balance was out, the ungifted and the gifted came to a realisation that they were different, dangerously different. More and more occurrences of gifted killing un-gifted and un-gifted killing gifted caused the collective; a group of both sides of the spectrum to bend space-time too separate and ultimately, protect themselves from the inevitable.

The scales should be in perfect balance, the gifted and the un-gifted perfectly where they should be, but the scales have been dipping and the mirror may fall to pieces. Which side will prevail?All Rights Reserved

They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise.
