I lean my body close to the direction of the door trying to listen. Maybe I missed something. All of a sudden I hear the yank of the door ripping off of it's hinges and being thrown across the bathroom. I jump back into the trap door trying desperately to blink away the tears that I hadn't even realized were accumulating in my eyes. The beat of my heart is so loud that I'm afraid this...thing could hear it. it stops right in front of the section of clothes that I'm hidden behind.

It smelled me, I think to myself.

I aim the gun in my shaking hands at the section of clothes, waiting for my death. It was inevitable. I would become...one of them. I can't let that happen. He wouldn't want that to happen. I don't even try holding back the single tear that runs down my cheek now. "I love you cam" I whisper as I point the gun at my own head now.

Right as the clothes are drawn back, I feel a hand grab at my foot from the other side of the trap door and pull me down. At that moment I hear two things, a gun shot and a scream.

I'm not sure which one was mine.
