He'd lost count of the number of times his parents had attempted to pair him up with many different lasses of all shapes, sizes, and colours of his age, only for him to reject them sooner or later.
That's the way he preferred to live, unattached, carefree - maybe a little tad angsty for that matter; that is, until Steve comes along, appearing as his sister's future significant other, in search for her hand in marriage.
