This story takes place many months after the events of Cuphead Peace was restored to the isles of Inkwellwith the Devil finally defeated for good! However, after a heated argument between the demon and the sleazy casino manager, King Dice flees the from where he rightfully belongs. With his minions on the search for him, the Devil is questioning his authority towards King Dice, worrying about what would happen if his righthand man isn't around anymore while still keeping a tinge of rage in his heart. The Legendary Chalice, who prefers to be called Alice Chalice, takes our cup boys to her home, the mysterious DLC Island. One of her friends, Chef Saltbaker, has come up with a recipe for a Wondertart that'll turn Alice corporeal again, and she needs their help getting the ingredients from some fearsome foes.
