Heyo! This is my first Splatoon fanfic here, so I hope it's not too cringy. A bit of swearing (maybe), but overall, pretty friendly (I hope). I'd say 10+ for ages. And none of the photos or characters that are in the book belong to me, unless I say so. Anyway, on to the description. (Cover is credited to @ThatSaltyMango) Startled and afraid, (Female) Agent 8 fights for her freedom against (Male) Agent 3 after abandoning her squadron that was supposed to lead the getaway to Octo Canyon. Out of nowhere, they're both suddenly knocked unconscious and wake up in a dark lab, about to be sanitized. Will they escape? Find out. Reached #1 in Splatoon at some point during 2021 93,287 words (yes, i calculated dw), not counting the 7 intermission/notification chapters. (Please, if anyone from my school knows who I am, I am BEGGING you not to tell) - Starts off with smaller sections of what quickly turns into the base stories and backstories. - Stay in school and do not write fanfiction. - If you have to stop reading in the middle of a story but want to save your place, leave a comment at the sentence and delete it later. - I PROMISE it gets better later on, so much of this literally makes my stomach ache with cringe. 😭 - Pretty Slow Burn. !!Nothing inherently inappropriate, but would suggest 16+!! Chapters are separated by what dynamic the plot focuses on. Plabs, Squidbob, Karendy (in the bg), and implied past Squillward.
