*COMPLETED*

For Prett, finding a new hideout away from her disastrous life is everything she ever wanted. It's secret, safe, besides for the sharp tooth neighbors next door, and a new face. He's someone from a different country. A different world. A world filled with water, daring her to get deeper, and deeper, and deeper...

For years, Tollin has never dared to stick his head above the surface. No matter how he did it, it scared him. Only when he saw a girl, someone not from his underwater world, did he venture to the surface to meet this new face that intrigued him. He became her protector, brother, lover. Tollin loved her. He could never deny it, at least that's what he told himself.

Read the short story from the Chronicles of Mistar about a love that was never meant to be.

Nothing could compare to the way her gaze made me feel. The flames licking my skin and the raging fire in my veins was way more bearable. The moment our eyes connected, it was like my body found a new kind of flame. The kind that only she was able to draw from me. I've never felt my body being set ablaze like this before. One day here in this new town and I was already losing my mind over my new neighbour. A really pretty, hot neighbour. Her long, wavy platinum blonde hair, pale skin and icy blue eyes that seemed to stare depths into my soul and keep me frozen in place. I couldn't seem to leave. Her pink lips were parted slightly as she tried to catch her breath. I swallowed. One step forward and I could hold her. One tilt of my head and I could kiss her lips. If only I could have a taste of those lips- I have to get out of here. I turned and left, my heart nearly overpowering my brain to stop and go back to her. Only one thought kept me going. Who could ever love a monster? -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Hey guys! I'm back with a new story and I've had this idea in my head for quite some time and I'm glad to finally be posting it! Firstly, I got inspiration for this book from a Korean drama called "Goblin" and it's one of the best dramas I've come across after so long. Secondly, no reuploading or copying or plagiarising or whatever it is that is illegal because I will slice your neck and leave you hanging to die :) Jk, maybe. Not really. Dev, he saw the same dream every night, the same beautiful curly haired girl, looking at him with those pleading pair of eyes, but he could do nothing to save her from drowning. He tried to avoid this weird attraction towards an imaginary girl, tried to fight the growing pain inside him but what did he do when the girl from his dreams came into his life like a gust of wind? He settled to his instincts. Instincts that made him borderline obsessive. Rik, he learned to control the pain, the dream didn't bother him anymore the way it bothered his twin brother, at least that's what he told himself, that the suffocations are normal, that not finding peace at anything was normal, that painting the picture of her and keeping them secret was normal. He hated her for disturbing his peace of mind, until the day he saw her from the very front. And then he knew he will do anything to have her in his life. Teressa, being ignorant to everything, dived into a world that took her back to the darkest part of her life. A life that kept following her from the past, along with the twin brothers. The more she learnt the more pain she felt it. The growing emotion, that led her towards the truth. A curse that knew no bounds, started pulling them together without their knowledge. _________________________________________ UNDER MAJOR EDITING. ● PLEASE NOTE : The pictures/videos or songs, none of these belong to me. A reflection. Do you like yours, love yours or hate yours? There's many people in this world who dislike theirs, not because of the physicality that they see in a mirror, but because they know what's lurking behind the eyes that stare. So much can be seen in yourself from your own pair of eyes, things that others don't seem to see. Do you know why that is? That's because no one knows you better than you know yourself. A pair of eyes could seem so kind, warm and innocent to the world, but only yourself could know the true darkness behind them. There's one person in this world who knows exactly what I'm talking about. He knows the infuriating, angering feeling of the painful suffering he experiences when his own eyes meet his reflection's. Deadly, severe, menacing: is what he sees. Everyone who looks into them simply see a bright pair of ocean eyes. Blue. That's all they see. But only himself knows he's drowning in the tidal waves of their deep ocean. And no one cares enough to notice, to help, or to save. Until her. She used to think fire was more murderous than ice. Little did she know, that would all change at first glance. She saw the eyes, she noticed their blue, she stared for a second too long, and now she knows that there's no going back. He'll claim her. ~If I take a step away from him, he takes a step closer to me. If I run, he'll find his way back.~ ~I'm trying my goddamned hardest to not act on the ache I'm feeling to place my lips on hers, just to have a little taste, because I don't want to appear as some sex-driven teenage boy who just wants to claim her body. Because I don't. I want to claim her heart.~ *Mature content: Strong language, aggressive behaviour, sexual content etc.* Note: Don't skip past the prologue. A bit of the dialogue or description in the first half of the book may seem slightly immature; I'll have to edit that when I get the chance. Started: 31/08/18 Completed: 02/04/19

"What are we doing Alex?" He breathes against my lips. That's too sensible of a question, so I ignore it. My brain has yet to return to my body, and right now that is the last thing I'm worried about. "Stay." I whisper against his mouth, my words flowing without any thought. "Stay?" He sits up fully, which results in me straddling him. His expression is full of curiosity and mild shock. "Like stay stay?" I don't respond with words. I'm afraid if I open my mouth, I'll start to overthink and I can't afford that. Instead, I pull my shirt over my head. I do it confidently, in spite of my boldness starting to dissipate as the seconds pass. Ryan swallows. His eyes trail down to my breasts, before he looks at me again with a look I can't name. "Are you sure?" He stares into me. "Promise me you're sure." "I'm sure." I tell him softly. "I promise." ******* ALEXANDRA MONET is a twenty two year old girl, freshly out of college. After landing her dream job working for top fashion designer Adrienne Walker, she moves from a small town in Florida, to the boisterous city of New York. Since before she moved, Alex mapped out a clear plan for the direction of her life. None of which could prepare her for RYAN RUSSO...the snarky, sarcastic boy who she'll soon find herself thinking about constantly. As much as the two think they can't stand each other, there's an underlying attraction that eventually grows too strong for either them to bare. So they make an agreement... An agreement that is supposed to be void of any and all feelings, but over time it becomes a lot harder than expected. It's supposed to mean nothing. Less than nothing, but unfortunately some things just don't go as planned. Warning: Mature scenes and language.
