One of them, a Sergeant from the local SWAT team by the name of Zuton Cruton, befriends one of the aliens, Zorra. She convinces the leader of their squad, Will, who is also the Deputy of the aliens, to ask to call off the attack. He aggrees, but his request is harshly denied and he and several other aliens defect to the humans side just in time for the invasion by the Ecarian Space Navy [ESN] of Earth...
