A junior in high school nicknamed "Rucks" is kidnapped and put into human trafficking. Through his attempts of trying to find hope and stay sane after the year of events, he meets a boy named Cendall. Cendall helps Rucks find light in the world again and shows him how even with all of the evil in the world, there is still good people. Rucks and Cendall start to fall in love and Rucks has to learn to trust again. All of this is fiction and is no way intended to copy or imitate any real people. The story is told through his perspective, as though he is telling a story of his past.
