Connections

The year is 2021 and a power corruption between two powerful people that didn't like the other started a nasty war between them. In the year 2022, the first bomb was dropped on the lesser power which caused a more powerful war between the two powers and a few other countries were dragged into the war, Canada was one of the last countries in the war after an invasion from the North. By the year 2023, the whole world was at war with its self causing worldwide destruction and death, by the year 2131 all bombs were dropped including all missiles, nukes, and rockets and the Earth was devastated and now a mass wasteland.

It would take many years before the Earth would start to show any sign of recovery but due to all the bombs that were dropped the radiation in the atmosphere and the ground things started to mutate. Causing another minor war on what remaining humans there were and the now new mutant lifeforms, this war caused some more minor damage to parts of the Earth. The year is 2422, right now all is calm for the humans, somewhat, all of what was left of the humans were pushed underground or so far up into the mountains that it's almost impossible to reach them. The two groups of people are trying to establish a connection but due to the radiation and a few other obstacles threating their lives they can't.

The goal now is to have the underground and mountain people have a steady communications network, so a crew is supposed to be sent out from both ends to set up boxes to make the signal stronger but things don't go exactly as planned and they encounter many enemies along the way.
