Rebel is not an ordinary meister. Her parent's were the most powerful meisters ever; but one day their house got attacked and her parents were killed. She has been traveling around the world looking for the people that killed her parent's. But instead she finds herself at a facility where they train young meisters to become powerful and overthrow evil. What she doesn't know is that the facility is really training them to carry out their own missions to take over Death City and defeat Death himself.
